| PORT KLANG, 12 September 2022 - YB Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Minister of Transport Sarawak paid a courtesy visit to the Marine Headquarters, Marine Department Malaysia (MARDEP) and the Marine Transport Training Institute (MATRAIN). The arrival of YB Minister and delegation from the Sarawak Ministry of Transport (MoTS) was welcomed by YBhg. Dato' Hj. Baharin Bin Dato' Abdul Hamid, Director General of Marine, Marine Department Malaysia, YBrs. Captain Abdul Samad Bin Shaik Osman, Deputy Director General (Operations), MARDEP, Divisional and Regional Directors and senior officers from MARDEP. YB Minister and the delegation have given a briefing on the function and operation of JLM delivered by YBhg. Dato' Director General of Marine. Next, the YB Minister of Transport and the delegation were taken to the Pusat Simulator Anjungan Kapal (PSAK), MATRAIN. A briefing on PSAK was delivered by Ts. Dr. Julyus Melvin Mobilik, Director of MATRAIN. The visit continued to the Vessel Traffic System (VTS) and was welcomed by the officers of the Traffic Management and Navigation Assistance Division (BPTBP). A briefing on VTS was delivered by Encik Hairizam bin Albukhari, Director of BPTBP. |
